Welcome!
A bit about me – I’ve been writing for decades, with published works in magazines, and Chicken Soup for the Soul editions. My first book was published by Iowan Books in 2010: Alice & Frosty: An American Adventure, a narrative non-fiction novel based upon the lives of my grandparents. They had an inspiring journey - born by candlelight in the 1800s and alive to see men walk on the moon. I love stories about real people who are touched by history, but aren’t the most famous in the room.
Every person has a story, and I’m a big fan.
I’m also a wife, sister, mom, and grandma (love that job!), as well as an HR professional, traveler and outdoorsy girl. Some of my favorite things include new experiences, books (of course), library cats, cozy turtlenecks, creek-walking, and birthday cake frosting. I wish you all the joy of a corner piece!
