I love stories – reading them, writing them, and talking about them. My Grandma Alice was the first and best storyteller. We would beg her for “stories about the old days,” and she would comply with a terrifying tale of a runaway buggy, or a recounting of the horrible day she dropped baby Phoebe on the bee’s nest. She painted pictures with her words. I hope you find that in my writing too.
I love the rush of trying something new (except for weird new foods. nope.). This summer I tried golf (I'm pretty bad), zipped downhill on a mountain coaster (so fun), and fought the undead in a virtual reality game room (I'm prepared for a zombie apocalypse). I love being a wife, mom, grandma, sister, and daughter. I can't resist castles, grandkid snuggles, creek-walking, or a salted carmel anything. And frosting. Here's to a corner piece!
